Every young person deserves to walk into their next chapter feeling confident, capable, and seen. Shoes equal confidence, and every pair is chosen by the student who receives it. Our life mission is to give away a million of them.
In 1982, Cesar Enciso's mom saved up to get him a pair of Pony Warriors. For their family, that was a very big deal. He still remembers lacing them up, and exactly how it felt to walk onto the basketball court in them.
Shoes equal confidence. He never forgot it, and EVOKicks was built on it. Every student names their own dream pair, Jordans, Timberlands, Vans, whatever makes them feel that way, and that is exactly what they receive. The shoes are the spark. Believing they can do anything is the point.

EVOKicks is a program of the LEAD Futures Foundation, a San Diego nonprofit that helps people feel seen, supported, and capable of becoming who they are meant to be. EVOKicks carries that mission onto the ground, one school and one surprise at a time.
Students name their own dream pair and receive exactly that. Nobody hands them leftovers. This is a celebration, and the choice was always theirs.
Every reveal lands on a milestone and fills the room with people who understand where these students are starting from. Success should look familiar.
Shoes get us in the room. Mentors, internships, scholarships, and real careers are what students carry out of it.
Every reveal begins with one person who paid attention.
